Summer, 1984.
A middle school gamer vanishes inside a tunnel connecting
Shizuoka and Aichi prefectures. The area is infamous—a haunted
place known to all locals. His friends begin a desperate search,
praying for his return.But what they encounter in the tunnel is
something… not of this world.

Author’s Information

Born in 1969 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
A graduate of Kyushu Dental University, the author continues to work as a dentist while writing. In 2010, he made his literary debut with Death Flag Has Been Raised!—a hidden gem selection in the 8th "This Mystery Is Amazing!" Awards.

He gained popularity for his signature blend of dark themes and humor, as seen in the Death Flag series and the Do-S Detective series, the latter of which was adapted into a television drama. His other notable works include Dental Woman Detective and Charlie the Naked Cop, among many others.
