Abstract

A Children’s Picture Book Spin-Off from Keigo Higashino’s Beloved “Kusunoki” Series!
"Please show me my future."
What kind of future will the sacred Kusunoki Tree Goddess reveal to a young boy in despair?

After experiencing a string of misfortunes and losing people dear to him, a boy breaks down in tears, overwhelmed by anxiety about what lies ahead. A kind traveler, moved by the boy’s pain, encourages him to visit the sacred Kusunoki Tree, said to be home to a goddess who can show glimpses of the future.

Overcoming many obstacles, the boy finally meets the Kusunoki Tree Goddess. She listens to his heartfelt wish—and shows him a vision of what is to come.
What future awaits him beyond the tears?

A touching story of courage, healing, and hope, told through gentle words and beautiful illustrations—perfect for readers of all ages.
