Abstract

This is the third installment of the "For Creation" series, following "A Magical Dictionary for Creation" and "A Magical & Alchemic Dictionary for Creation". This glossary covers over 800 keywords by theme, including weapons, military organizations, operations and tactics, military training schools, special forces, espionage and other intelligence activities that often appear in movies, military terminology and jargon, and more, focusing on the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the US military. Each term is accompanied by an easy-to-understand explanation, and icons show which country the term is from and what era it is from (distinguishing between "Middle Ages and Early Modern Times", "Around World War I", "Around World War II", "US-Soviet Cold War", and "Present Day"). From "otherworld fantasy", "school battles", to "sci-fi set in the future", military and weapon terminology and knowledge are essential. We hope you will find this glossary useful for your creative activities.
