Kotaro Takano (wombat researcher) ★A new book on living creatures has been born★ This book is a "research story" by 10 biologists. It is a record of the quiet passion of biologists (teachers) who continue to face living creatures. Wombats, platypuses, slugs, sea cucumbers, crows, sloths, killer whales, ants, giant squids, giant isopods... These creatures are a little mysterious and somehow attractive. Why are they researching these creatures? How did they meet, and what moved them? The real voices of the teachers are delivered through interviews. It is interesting because each teacher has a different way of facing the creatures, as well as the ecology of the creatures. The trigger for research, the joy of observation, the difficulties in the field, and unexpected discoveries - here are the dramas of ten different people walking with living creatures.
