Author’s Information

Nagata Kosaku is a current student at the University of Tokyo. Born in 2001. He passed the entrance exam to Tokyo University without going to a cram school. He was a member of the baseball club in junior high and high school, and studied while doing club activities. He applied the same "pattern" of hard work to his studies, "eliminating his weaknesses through practice and preparing to maximize his abilities in the game," and got through his exam preparations. He is currently affiliated with Carpe Diem Co., Ltd., and has given over 200 lectures at schools and municipalities across the country, while also introducing his accumulated knowledge in articles and books. Nishioka Issei Nishioka was the last student (originally with a deviation value of 35) at an unknown school that had never had a student pass the entrance exam to Tokyo University, but he decided to take the entrance exam to Tokyo University. In a desperate situation where he was facing a second retake, he practiced "a method of reading that would develop 'reading ability' and 'intelligence'", and his grades improved rapidly, ranking 4th in the nation on the Tokyo University mock exam, and he was accepted to Tokyo University. Currently, while working as a private tutor, he also serves as the project leader for the "Dragon Zakura 2 Tokyo University Student Team 'Toryumon'," which provides information for the popular manga "Dragon Zakura 2" (Kodansha).
