Abstract

Introducing bags made from patchwork-based vintage indigo fabric, embroidered with sashiko and then further stitched. These works, which primarily use damaged or thin vintage indigo fabric, are tasteful and attractive. Natural, white, red, and black threads are used for the stitching. By freely using thick and thin sashiko threads, embroidery thread, hand-sewing thread, and quilting thread for the sashiko and stitch lines, a unique look is created. In addition to tote bags, pochettes, and pouches, several accessories are also featured. A total of 33 items are featured.
