Abstract

This is the second book by Tomoko Tomiyama, the popular bag designer and owner of Atelier Popo. This book compiles the content of her serial in the handmade magazine "Cotton Friend." The author, who has been a bag instructor at Bunka Fashion College's Open College, shares tips on how to make easy-to-make, beautiful bags. It covers a wide range of difficulty levels to satisfy beginners to advanced crafters. Even beginners can complete the difficult parts with photo-based process explanations.

Author’s Information

She studied bag making at Bunka Fashion College's BUNKA Open College of Lifelong Learning.
After that, she began her career as an artist while working as an assistant in the same course from 2004 to 2021.
In 2021, she took over the course of the same course from her mentor, and continues to do so to this day.
