Abstract

This is the third book in a series of needlework by popular vintage cloth artist Waku Ako "Nyan." It features tasteful bags made primarily from indigo vintage cloth, modern cloth accessories that incorporate the indigo blue of second-hand denim for a Japanese-Western mix, and bags in the colors of the sea and sky.

Waku Ako is an artist who makes bags and accessories using old indigo cloth, and her work is shared on social media such as her blog and Instagram, as well as in classes and at the Hankyu Umeda store.
She is also known as a cat lover, and her popular works feature cat motifs.
