Abstract

This book features simple, functional, and easy-to-use bags designed by quilt and bag artist Naomi. Nine designs are explained in detail with photographs, focusing on shoulder bags, tote bags, round bags, messenger bags, body bags, pochettes, and sacoche bags. All come with patterns.

Author’s Information

Quilt artist. Teaches patchwork classes at several cultural schools in Kanagawa Prefecture. With 25 years of teaching experience, she has taught students how to make original bags in between patchwork lessons, which were well received, and she began to devise designs for simple, easy-to-use bags.
