Abstract

COCOT is a country blessed with beautiful castles and an abundance of nature. It is a true fantasy world. Magnificent woods and lakes, beautiful castles, gorgeous farming villages and townscapes, meadows, forests, lakeside sceneries, commoner’s lives in a town or a village, and so on – this colouring book illustrates all of these with a gentle touch.
All of the images were hand drawn with a toothpick. Approximately 700 toothpicks were used to draw these amazing images. In order to create your own original narrative while coloring, feel free to write a story or add lines with a toothpick as your imagination expands.

Author’s Information

Eriy is a Japanese illustrator based in Chiba, Japan.
She earned a BFA from Musasino Art University.
Her work appeared in prestigious trade publications such as Shougakukan, Graphic-sha , PIE.
She published several books such as Romantic Country coloring book, World heritage site tracing book.
She received Awards "Best in pop"

Her work focuses on Capturing daily life, intricacies, coloring books.
