Abstract
Without becoming anyone's wife or mother, she turned 50 and remained a daughter. In her 50s, she went from middle age to elderly. She is confronted with the many things that come with aging, such as physical ailments, declining energy, stamina, and memory, the generation gap with younger people, the issue of caring for parents, and the deaths of people her age... Every day she faces the reality of aging. Now that she is in her 50s, the protagonist Yoko experiences a new turn in her life. She quits her job. She leaves Tokyo. She gives up on something. This is the story of how she, who had never amounted to anything, discovers a new self.

Author’s Information
Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he made his debut in 1994 with "SWAYIN' IN THE AIR" ("Ranmaru" / Ohta Publishing). He has worked in a wide range of magazines, from BL to young men's and women's magazines, and continues to garner passionate support from readers. In 2006, "Family Restaurant" (Ohta Publishing) was adapted into a film. In 2020, "To Die Tomorrow" won the Excellence Award in the Manga Division of the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival, sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. He has written many books, including "Ikuhyakuseisou" (Ohta Publishing), "Every One of Us" (Hakusensha), "Just as Connecting Makes a Constellation" and "Sensation: Soda Fountain" (Kodansha), "Complicated Oranges" (Shodensha), "Every Minute, Every Second" (Shinshokan), and "Kayo-chan's Luggage" (Takeshobo).
