Abstract

Yoshimoto Yoshitomo's timeless masterpiece, 30 years after its publication, is now available in a new, complete edition! This collection of short stories, renowned as one of the best and long-selling youth manga of the 90s, includes the final chapter of the series, "Rideen," not included in the first edition.

Richio, a young man working at a record shop, loses his girlfriend, Akemi, in a traffic accident. One day, Akemi's younger sister, Konimi, visits him. The two go on a drive to the sea to mourn Akemi, and the story is told with prose-like monologues. (Synopsis of "Blue Car")
