Abstract

A huge, tiny family prepares for winter in the kitchen below the floor: chestnut rice, mushrooms and potatoes, sweet persimmons, acorn and wild grape cake. Sniff, sniff, munch, munch. It's so good to be full. So delicious! (From the text)
The huge family of 20 mice, including 18 siblings from "Tomato-chan" in a bright red shirt to tiny "Strawberry-chan" in a bib, and father and mother mice, are enjoying the bountiful autumn.
Looking at the delicious faces of each baby mouse, it's easy to feel moved by something as simple as "it must be so happy to be full."
