Abstract
A big, tiny family makes lunches and enjoys playing with flowers and plants in the park on a happy spring day.
There are 18 mouse siblings, from "Tomato-chan" in a bright red shirt to little "Strawberry-chan" in a bib, plus the father and mother mice, making a total of 20 members of the big family. "What's a picnic?" It's Strawberry-chan's first picnic.

Born in Tokyo. Picture books include "Where does Sparrow-kun eat?" (Fukuinkan Shoten), "I'm a Chameleon" (Grand Mamasha), and the "Shiro-chan and Hari-chan" series (Hikari no Kuni). Selected for the 21st BIB Bratislava International Picture Book Exhibition ("I'm Born" Alicekan). Winner of the 16th Japan Picture Book Award for "Five Wonderful Mice Moving Plan" (Holp Publishing).
