Born in Tokyo in 1961. After graduating from the Faculty of Letters at Seikei University, he joined a publishing company.
In 2001, he made his debut by winning the 2nd Horror Suspense Award with Rika.
His works include Toshishita no Otoko no Ko (The Younger Boy), Yūkai (Kidnapping), 1981 no Swan Song (Swan Song, 1981), Aganai (Atonement), Honō no Tō (The Tower of Flames), Kesennuma Miracle Girl, Swim!
