The protagonist, who struggles to express his feelings aloud, is depicted with humorous illustrations. It depicts the emotional exchanges between friends, becoming a hot topic at daycare centers and kindergartens! This communication picture book has attracted a lot of attention.

Author’s Information

Born in Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo Woman's Christian University, she studied picture book creation at Tokyo Designer Academy. While working on stage design for the Kogumaza Theatre Company, she also produces picture books. She has received numerous awards, including the Grand Prize in the Painting Category of the 9th Nippon Shinyaku Children's Literature Award, a prize in the 20th Pinpoint Picture Book Competition, and the Special Jury Prize at the 5th Picture Book Text Grand Prix. She is a member of the "Fairy Tale Society Pepin." Her hobby is playing the accordion.
