Abstract

When I go out with my favorite accordion, it stretches out and gets into action. It stretches out like a ladder to pick apples from the tree, and it stretches into a hole to rescue a fallen dog. With its repetitive "pupupupu!" sound, the characters that appear with each page, the bold composition, and the unique coloring, this picture book is enjoyable for all ages. Another unique feature is that the cover and the book cover have different designs. The cover has a keyboard design, so when you remove the cover and open the book, it looks just like an accordion.

Author’s Information

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Art and Design at Musashino Art University. After graduating from university, she participated in picture book workshops and other events. This work won the Excellence Award at the 11th Aridagawa Picture Book Competition, marking her debut.
