After working for an apparel and yarn manufacturer, she began producing and selling original knitwear under the name kolmio nelio. "kolmio nelio" is Finnish, meaning "square" and "nerio" meaning "triangle."
She creates knitwear by incorporating motifs that she finds appealing in everyday life into geometric patterns. She currently also submits her work for publication under the name Uno Chihiro. She is well-known for her unique designs that incorporate trends.
