How are popular pet cockatiels and budgerigars are living in the wild? The book brings together beautiful and unique photographs of their child rearing, large flocks, and more. The author also explains the differene between pet and wild parakeets, and gives information about bird-watching tour in Australia.

Yuta Okamoto first visited Australia in 2009 to see wild parrots and parakeets. After three years of serving as a local paper reporter, he is now a freelance photographer who offers photographs or articles to numbers of scientific journals. He is an author of numerous photography books focusing on wild parrots or parakeets.
