Author’s Information
Yasuaki Kagii is a freelance underwater phogotrapher. Not only beautifully taken, his photographs are aimed not to be stressfulto the subject. He regularly records the lives of sea creatures since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. He is an author of numerous photography books.
Rie Nakano has received a Ph.D. in science from the university of the Ryukyus. She is a member of the Malacologocal Society of Japan / Japan Ethological Society. She specializes in the behavioral ecology and the classification of sea slugs. She writes not just scholarly articles of books, but picture books and magazines, supervises TV programs, produces photography exhibition at aquariums.
