It features a wide range of recipes, from rice and noodle dishes to snacks and side dishes, seasonal recipes, and even pre-prepared meals. The column also features lunch boxes for rehearsals and memorable flavors from the Owada family.

In 1998, he became the host of the weekday daytime information program "Wide! Scramble," a regular appearance for 11 years. Since retiring from hosting information programs, he has been actively appearing in stage and film productions. His major TV appearances include "Twenty-One-Year-Old Father," "Onna Taikoki," and "Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari," among many others. He appeared in "Gama," one of the productions that won the 30th Yomiuri Theater Award. He toured various locations with Tom Project, receiving rave reviews for his plays "When the Hagi Blossoms," "Sing a Song," and "Montenlupa." He is a member of Tom Project.
