Abstract

Obsidian, God of fertility, was losing his powers as people's faith diminish, and refuse to eat offerings from the town. Spending his time being lazy, one day Sukuru, a boy who came from the town as a sacrifice, comes to dedicate himself to Obsidian. At first, Obsidian pushes Sukuru away, for his wishes were to be eaten and fertilize the land. But being attracted to Sukuru's purity and kindness, Obsidian gradually feels the need of Sukuru being by his side, and how he has become very important for him.
