Abstract
The first cake Little Pig ever baked.
He did such a good job that he decided to bring a slice to his friend, Little Raccoon.
He placed the cut piece of cake on a plate—but it looked like it might tip over any second.
So he walked, carefully, very carefully, trying not to let it fall.
Eyes on the cake, step by careful step…
Little Pig stared only at the cake, so he didn’t see what was happening around him.
He climbed hills, fell into holes—one close call after another—but the cake stayed safe.
Little Pig kept walking ever so carefully.
He didn’t even notice when a monster bus passed right by him.
But before he knew it, the sun was setting, and his stomach was growling.
“Maybe… I should just eat this cake myself.”
What will Little Pig do now?
A simple, humorous picture book where the fun lies in noticing all the things happening around the hero—things he never notices himself.
