Abstract

●Etsuko Bushika: Born in Tokyo in 1928. Received the 50th Children's Cultural Achievement Award in 2011, and the French version of her picture book "Pittsun Tsun" (Kumon Publishing) won the Nanterre Infant Readers' Award 2013. Her poetry collection "Star" (Iwasaki Shoten) won the 54th Japan Children's Literature Association Award and the 44th Japan Children's Song Award in 2014, as well as the 2016 Children's Song Culture Award, among many other awards. ●Shigeki Suezaki: Born in Osaka in 1948. His works include the "Wanpakudan" series and the "Yamaneko Sensei" series (Hisakata Child), the "Tomodachi Daisuki" series (Kaiseisha), "Fururururu" and "I Hate Cats!" (Froebel-kan), the "Kusunoki Danchi" series (Hikari no Kuni), and many others.
