Abstract

The dramatic story of a samurai lord who became a Christian and defied Shogun Hideyoshi by refusing to give up his faith. Originally published in serial form in the monthly Lammy comic book.

1996 – Received “Afternoon-Four Season” Award from Kodansha Publishing House
2001 – Baptised at Christian church
2007 – Started “Hinatabokko” series on “Rami” (children’s Comic magazine). Since then, wrote articles such as “Mitsubasa no Shita de” (Under His wings), and “Mirai no Mi” (Future Fruits).

“Comic Book – Christian Samurai Lord Ukon Takayama” – has been on “Rami” from July, 2012 to June , 2015 and were revised and edited for publication.
