Abstract

The Kingdom of Leine is the only nation that breeds and domesticates “Run Dragons”—dragons trained to carry people and serve in the military.
Lucy, the diligent third princess of Leine, has always lived earnestly and by the book.
However, after discovering her fiancé’s infidelity, she breaks off their engagement.
As a turning point, she is sent abroad to study in the neighboring Kingdom of Hicks, where she takes on the role of instructor for a “RunDragon Rider.”
Spending time with the kingdom’s sole Run Dragon Rider—a young lieutenant—Lucy finds herself increasingly flustered by his straightforward, dragon-like sincerity.
Inspired by him and the Run Dragons, she resolves to live honestly and true to her own heart.
