Abstract

When playing guitar by looking at chord names, most people fret the root on the 6th or 5th string. However, being able to quickly fret chords with the root on the 2nd string, for example, will broaden your playing range. And it's even more convenient to know multiple ways to fret a single root position. If you can even master forms where you don't fret the root at all, you're an advanced guitarist. This book will help you become a master of chord voicing, thinking about the "root position" as a central point and being able to fret various chords that suit the situation. It lectures on "usable" chord diagrams and how to use them in actual performance. With a vast number of diagrams included, you can also use it as a chord dictionary.
