It's a book that reveals the charm of various dog breeds, showcasing their cuteness, coolness, and outstanding abilities, as well as their slightly clumsy and troublesome sides. Author’s Information

Takaaki Fukuyama, supervising the project, is an associate professor (PhD) at Yamazaki University of Animal Nursing. He is a certified companion animal nurse and pet grooming specialist. Leveraging the advantage of having grown up with animals under parents who specialized in dogs, he is involved in education and research with two missions in mind: "To cultivate professionals who will bring welfare-oriented maturity to Japan's pet industry!" and "To aim to be a 'generalist' in the academic world where specialization is required!" He has appeared on TV shows such as "Hayashi Osamu's Now or Never! Lecture" and "Sakagami Animal Kingdom," and has authored books such as "A Bright Life for Senior Dogs" and "Basic Techniques for Trimmers," among others.

Masako Fujii (illustrator) is an illustrator and cartoonist who loves dogs and the countryside. She is active in comical illustrations mainly for women's magazines and books. Her numerous books include "Bibi's Dog-Raising Diary," "Girls Only Social Studies Field Trip Go!" (both published by Midori Shobo), "Hokahoka Family" (Shufunotomo), and "Let's Go to the Backstreets of Kyoto" (Taibundo).
