Author’s Information

Designer. Based in Tokyo, she participated in Paris Fashion Week for 22 years. She has held shows at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as in Beijing, Cuba, Myanmar, Spain, and other locations, actively promoting international cultural exchange. She served as a senior advisor at the Osaka-Kansai Expo (Japan International Exposition). Recipient of numerous awards, including the Italian Order of Cultural Merit (Cavaliere), the Montblanc International Cultural Award, the Order of Friendship of the Republic of Cuba, the Order of Cultural Merit, the Legion of Honour (Chevalier), and the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon.
