Abstract

For those who are hurt by the meanness within themselves. An entire book dedicated to Lucy!

A collection of comic masterpieces from the legendary comic strip "PEANUTS," known for Snoopy, is now available in a new series of best-of collections, featuring carefully selected episodes for each character! The first volume features Lucy, who is not just crabby!

"PEANUTS" is a comic strip drawn by Charles M. Schulz and brilliantly translated by Shuntaro Tanikawa. This time, poet Tahi Saihate connects Lucy with the reader. Lucy is very mean. But why is she everyone's friend? A book to think about "friendship" while exploring the differences and similarities between Lucy and yourself.

"PEANUTS," the comic strip known for Snoopy and Charlie Brown, was serialized in newspapers for half a century starting in 1950 by Charles M. Schulz. The comic strip features a colorful cast of characters including Lucy, Linus, and Sally.
