Author’s Information
After starting his career at a hotel restaurant in Tokyo, he moved to France to further hone his craft at the Michelin one-star restaurant "Dominique Bouchet" in Paris. Upon returning to Japan, he worked at top establishments like "Pierre Gagnaire" before participating in the launch of "Dominique Bouchet Tokyo." There, he helped the restaurant earn two Michelin stars and excelled as the executive chef for the entire group.
After leaving the group, he became the head chef at the Shirokanedai restaurant "CIRPAS" and currently oversees the entire venue as its director (as of January 2026). The restaurant has received high acclaim, including being chosen as a Michelin Selected Restaurant from its very first year. While rooted in French cuisine, he also produces a wide range of culinary concepts, from Italian dining to casual bistros.
Furthermore, on his YouTube channel "George Yoshida," his perfect balance of professional techniques and home-replicable dishes sparked a massive following, pushing his subscriber count past 1.3 million (as of January 2026), with his total social media following exceeding 2.7 million.
