Kenta Fujisawa
Professor, Faculty of Science and Institute of Time Studies, Yamaguchi University; Visiting Professor, Hiroshima University; Affiliated Professor, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. Ph.D. in Science. Born in Oita City, Oita Prefecture, in 1967. He graduated from the Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Science, The University of Tokyo, and completed his graduate studies there. After serving at the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, among other institutions, he joined Yamaguchi University, where he is currently a professor. He also served as Director of the Institute of Time Studies at Yamaguchi University from 2016 to 2026. His research specialties are radio astronomy and astrophysics.
Makoto Ichikawa
Professor, Graduate School of Humanities, Chiba University; President, Japanese Society for Time Studies; Visiting Professor, Institute of Time Studies, Yamaguchi University. Ph.D. in Literature. Born in Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture, in 1965. He graduated from Osaka City University and completed his doctoral studies there. Following appointments as a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, a researcher at York University in Canada, and faculty positions at Yamaguchi University, he joined Chiba University, where he has served as professor since 2013. His specialty is experimental psychology, with a particular focus on the perception and cognition of time.
