Abstract

There are four key assets in life: time, skills, money, and relationships. Of these, time is the only one we can directly control.
Even in an age when AI is making work more efficient, that efficiency means little if we do not know how to use our time wisely. When we learn to manage our time effectively, our other three assets can grow as well. We gain more skills, greater financial opportunities, and stronger relationships. As our possibilities expand, we are more likely to discover what we truly want to do—and gain the freedom to make it happen.
This book begins by helping readers assess where they currently stand. It then introduces practical techniques for escaping “time poverty,” including choosing speed over low cost and learning to distinguish between “ultra-efficient time” and “non-efficient time.”
The book also explores how to make rich and meaningful use of the “non-efficient time” that many people overlook, as well as practical ways to reduce communication costs and build better relationships.
Packed with actionable insights, this book presents a framework for “life design” in the era of 100-year lifespans, along with 51 habits for avoiding time poverty.
Break free from time poverty, and your life can change.
A definitive guide to a time revolution—one you can begin today.
