"This job could be done by someone else"--have those words ever crossed your mind? A 27-year-old University of Tokyo graduate working at a foreign bank, who was at the pinnacle of cost-effectiveness, honestly faced that question and quit his job. This is the complete record of how he started embroidering from having never even touched an iron and created his own work in a 4.5 tatami mat room. Anxiety about AI taking over jobs, days without a sense of accomplishment, fear of what your boss will be like in 10 years--this book quietly answers those anxieties. For those who want to know what lies beyond stepping away from the right answer.
