Abstract

How did this groundbreaking organizational analysis come about?

"Nurumayu (Complacent complacency)," "Yarisugoshi (letting things slide)," "Mitoshi (foresight)"—how did the concepts that explain phenomena undoubtedly present in Japanese organizations but cannot be expressed in other languages come into being and how were they verified? The author, who has been analyzing Japanese organizations for over 40 years, provides a fascinating explanation of the process in this must-read book for researchers and those involved in investigations.
