Author’s Information
Professor, Faculty of Science, Kyoto Sangyo University
Born in Hokkaido, Japan in 1953. After graduating from the Faculty of Science, Kyoto University, he completed a doctorate in Applied Mathematics and Astronomy at the University of Wales, Cardiff. D. After working at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics, a researcher at the University of Washington, and a professor at Tohoku University, he is currently a professor of astrophysics and meteorology at the Faculty of Science, Kyoto Sangyo University, and a professor emeritus at Tohoku University. He specializes in general relativity and cosmology.
He is the author of "Mysteries of the Universe: Dark Matter and Giant Black Holes" (Sakura-sha) and "Can Time Machines Be Realized? (Seibundoshinko-sha), and "An Illustrated Book of Space Terms" (co-authored, Magazine House).
