Abstract
"Tofu Hyakuchin," which was a huge hit in the Edo period, was a recipe book that introduced 100 dishes using only tofu, divided by skill level. This is the modern version of "Tofu Hyakuchin," written by Chizuru Ohara. It features 100 recipes that are "healthy, simple, and great for adults."
Author’s Information
Culinary expert. Born in the Miyamaso ryokan in Hanase, Kyoto. She was naturally familiar with cooking from a young age and learned the secrets of cooking. After getting married, she moved to central Kyoto and began working as a culinary expert while raising her two sons and one daughter. She is a regular on NHK's "Today's Cooking" and NHK BS4K's "Atena Yoru," and is the culinary supervisor for NHK BS Premium's "The Secret Pleasures of Kyoto People," as well as holding classes and lectures on home cooking. She is the recipient of the 3rd Kyoto Washoku Culture Award and has written numerous cookbooks.
