Abstract

I can change my clothes by myself, and I can eat food. I can brush my teeth and even cut an apple. I'm not a little boy anymore, but how long will Mom and Dad worry about me? I was a bit of a numpty, but when I went to my grandma's house, I realized something. My dad was worried about me too!　He's an adult now though.... When I asked Grandma why, she told me a secret.

Illustrator, picture book artist, and printmaker.
After winning the 10th Genkosha Illustration The Choice Annual Award in 1992, she traveled to France twice. In 2005, she won the Salon Culture Prize in Viofly, France. Her picture book "Paris y es tu?" published in France in 2006 became a best seller and is still sold in bookstores and museums. In Japan, her works include "Globe Hakase's World Heritage Maze Journey" (Gakken) and "I Know" (Imagination Plus).
