Abstract

By Akutagawa Award Winning author and Japan SF Award nominee Haneko Takayama.

Highschool student “me” and my best friend “her”, we walk around the town full of surveillance cameras, and film the world with our small lenses on our mobiles, as my mother and grandmother and great grandmother have done in the past. This little clip of the world is used at times for education, for entertainment, at other times as weapons for war, for conflicts and for oppression. A beautifully written story of generations of women that record the world through lenses - fictional, but reflecting the history of films and movies.

Finalist for the 42th Japan SF Award.
