The Case Study Group of the University of Tokyo (Editor)

The Case Study Group of the University of Tokyo started its activities in June 2008, mainly consisting of aspiring strategy consulting firms. They conduct research on a wide range of case studies such as Fermi estimation and business cases, hold seminars, and provide job-hunting support activities.
They have written and edited the "Todai (the University of Tokyo) Notebook" series: "Fermi Estimation Notebook to Train Your Brain," "Case Problem Notebook to Train Your Ability to Solve Problems," and "Discussion Notebook to Train Your Ability to Discuss," all published by Toyo Keizai Inc.


Minato Shiraki (Author)

Minato Shiraki is a member of the Case Study Group of the University of Tokyo. He graduated from the University of Tokyo in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree and completed his graduate studies at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Science in 2013. In the same year, he started working as a management consultant at a foreign consulting firm, where he engaged in consulting for various companies as a manager. Since 2021, he has been a manager at a Japanese consulting firm.
Since completing graduate school, he has provided tutoring on logical thinking to university students and new workers. In the last four years, 73% of the students who received continuous guidance have obtained offers as management consultants from foreign strategy firms (82% if domestic firms are included). He also writes numerous web columns on logical thinking.
