Since leaving her career as a kindergarten teacher to become an embroidery artist, Anna Kawabata has authored numerous books, including annas Small Embroidery Designs (New Edition), annas Japanese Embroidery (both from Kobunsha), annas Animal Embroidery (East Press) and others. Kawabata’s subscription website, annas Monthly Embroidery, is updated each month with embroidery designs. Kawabata also creates embroidered illustrations for advertisements, etc., and produces video embroidery tutorials on YouTube.
