Professor at Juntendo University School of Medicine and a Japan Sport Association-certified sports doctor. Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1960. Graduated from Juntendo University School of Medicine in 1987. Completed the Graduate School of Medicine at the same university in 1992. After working in the Department of Surgery at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, University of London, Trinity Medical Research Centre, and the Department of Surgery at the National Children's Hospital of Ireland, he has served as a lecturer and assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Juntendo University. As a leading researcher in the autonomic nervous system, he has been involved in conditioning and performance improvement guidance for numerous professional athletes, artists, and cultural figures.
