Abstract

It all started on a Sunday during mid-July that summer. Keisuke had joined the art club at school and had an assignment to draw a structure. He immediately thought of doing that enchanting old-fashioned European-style house with grey walls and a green roof. The old lady owner invited him on the premises where he met Yuria, a lovely young girl. Keisuke eventually realized that he was having a crush on her. The time they spent in Yuria’s room at the end of the corridor or in the back garden among the abundant buttercups, about Yayako, the other girl next door, all seemed not to be there when they were. The beauty, ephemeralness and uncertainty echoed in the memories of those summer days.
