Abstract

Sloth is living slowly on a tree in a jungle. One day the animals in the jungle became hot with races of "who is the best?" The fastest, the longest tongue, and the loudest voicel... But Sloth doesn't care or he might not be aware of the situation. And at last a race has begun including Sloth! Who will be the best of it, and how Sloth will do with it?

The theme is diversity and uniqueness. Don't conpare easily with anybody, and just walk through in your pace. Sloth always encourage us up above on the tree.

Author’s Information

Author of children's books, printmaker. Born in Osaka, and raised in Tokyo. Learned the skill of printing in Firenze, Italy. She won at the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition in 2003, 2005,2006, and her debut "Moo the Tapir" is the works in 2006. Her books were published in France, Itary and Taiwan.
