Abstract
The 6th series of ink painting techniques taught by popular painters who are currently active on the front lines. Focusing on the nostalgic thatched-roof houses, we will explain in detail how to draw "private houses" that accompany people's lives, such as mountain villages, rural houses, fishing village houses, and townscapes where people live. A variety of examples and production processes by five painters, Kazue Kuyama, Rokendo Fujiwara, Shin Uchiya, Wanen Shin, and Kaichiro Negishi. In addition, ink paintings and sketches by the late Tozan Takahashi, whose lifework is the pilgrimage to private houses nationwide, are also included.
