Abstract

While reading the phantom technique book "Tansei Shinan" of the Edo Kano family, which has been handed down as "Japanese painting colored cheat seets" at Tokyo School of Fine Art (currently Tokyo University of the Arts), you know the painting materials and techniques of Japanese painting, try experiments by comparing and contrasting with the techniques of modern painters. Compared to other paintings, Japanese painting is difficult to handle with tools and paints, and it is difficult to improve without knowing basic knowledge and expressions. Therefore, this book is composed of the practice of Japanese painting divided into art materials, techniques, and practical skills. For example, I showed about 20 ways to melt whitewash so that I could learn how to melt and how to use each painter and learn the method that suits me. I also introduced techniques using modern new painting materials. In addition, we introduced how to draw "lily", which has been drawn by beginners as an essential task at art universities, by system and basis of universities and art groups, and explained the process of "Sakura" as various practical examples. .. A glossary of Japanese painting terms is also posted at the end of the book.
