Abstract

In the world of traditional ink painting, there is almost no realistic expression of light itself. But "light" is one of the most important themes in the expression and creation of modern ink painting. In this book, the five painters, Sho Ito, Kazue Kuyama, Maen, Yosui Matsui, and Ransui Yagata, drow the light in modern life like sunrise, sunset, sunlight through the trees, light shining through the window, moonlight, aurora, street lights, flames. They explained in detail the techniques and tips of creating works with abundant examples and process photographs.
