Born in Tokyo1994. Graduated from Tokyo University. He made his debut in 2017 with Meitantei and was uso wo tsukanai (Ace Detectives Tell No Lies), published as part of the talent-scouting project KAPPA-II. Would go on to publish Seieishi no kioku (Memories of the Star Reader), Guren-kan no satsujin (Murder in the Burning Mansion), Tōmei Ningen was misshitsu ni hisomu (The Invisible Person Lurks in the Hidden Room), Ireko zaiku no yoru (A Night of Nest Work), leading to a five-year record of topping the mystery ranking charts. Currently considered to be one of the most highly-anticipated mystery writers in the 2020s.
