Kazuo Hida has authored more than ten books, including the long-selling "Joubi-sai" (reserve greens), published in 2011 by Shufu To Seikatsu-sha. She has written more than ten books. Her simple recipes that make the most of ingredients and can be deliciously prepared by anyone are popular among people of all ages. Her recipes are based on the flavors of Tokyo, where she was born and raised, and Nagano, where she spent three years of high school. Currently living in Shonan with her husband and daughter, she cooks fresh local ingredients using her favorite seasonings she has found in various places.
