Abstract
The first thing I draw is a red pepper. Place the real thing on a piece of paper and trace the outline with a pencil. You can draw the exact shape. Two colors are used, one is a little darker red and the other is normal red. Overpainting creates gradation and makes it look like pepper. Only one color is used for the calyx, and it is repainted. Where it's shining, I wash the brush and remove the color. When you put a shadow on it with a pencil, it gives a three-dimensional effect, and it's done. This is okay for beginners. The workmanship that I can't imagine drawing in three colors. The same method used in the author's classroom was used as it was. Incorporating new ideas and tips, we explain familiar flowers and fruits in detail and carefully. An easy-to-understand book by an author who is so fond of and enthusiastic that she has created his own botanical illustration museum in Izu.
